Heisann!! Blir visst enda en post på meg ikveld. Jeg har laget et bursdagskort i lilla i sidestep variant som jeg skal ha med på siste partyutfordringen hos Papirdokkene. Mitt første innlegg ligger rett under dette og er en bursdagskrone.

Hi there!! Looks like there is gonna be another birthdaycard in purple, sidestep variety that I'll deliver for the last partychallenge over at Papirdokkene. My first post today is right underneath this one and is a birthday crown.

I made a birthday crown for my daughters 2 year old birthday the 18th of february. This time I did not choose the traditional pink and purple colours, but went for green and red. It turned out quite good:

DT Top Tip Tuesday- Stitches faux or real

It's tuesday again and it has been 2 weeks since our last challenge. We had a lot of great entries for the magical, mystery & fantasy challenge and I thoroughly enjoyed visiting your blogs. There were mermaids, fairies and I even saw some dragons. They all looked fab. Now it is finally time for a new challenge at Top Tip Tuesday!! Yaaaai!!!! Finally!! We have a great one for you for the next two weeks as well. It is also tipper week so all of the dt has a lot of great tips for you!!

It is time for : Stitches faux or real!! And let me tell you it was a thrill trying to sew on my cards. Yes I tried sewing after seeing the fab sewing tutorial by Janette. It was quite enjoyable really. So you should have a go if you've never tried it before!! Or you could make some fake good ones. Either way we wanna see it in our challenge these weeks!!

Our awsome sponsors this week is:

Saturated Canary:
1st prize is 2 digi images from her lovely etsy shop
Hello! My name is Krista Smith.
I have been drawing and doodling my whole life...as far back as I can remember! Over the last year and a half, I have been selling it on Etsy. I was approached to draw stamps for Sugar Nellie, a stamp company based in Scotland. After designing only rubber for a year, I decided to branch out a bit into the digital world:). As an artist, I appreciate the versatility of digi's for the stamper. I also like releasing stamps that are a little more obscure or unique. Monsters, nerds with big glasses...even a mermaid:). Those ones are really fun for me to draw! After opening up my digi shop in the beginning of September, I've been busy filling orders:). I am really thrilled and very humbled that ladies are so receptive to my designs and seem to enjoy coloring them a lot! I am so inspired by these amazing colorists!! I have met so many wonderful, talented ladies through this business and look forward to building new friendships, too! My personal blog, Saturated Canary, is filled with bits of my family life, artwork, and a slight obsession with fashion;). I also run a new challenge/ inspiration blog, Saturated Canary Challenge with my amazing design team. I'd love to meet you and be inspired by your own creations! Do stop by and say hello!:)

and

Prize 2 is 2 digis from Debbies lovely online shop
Debbie at The Crafty Pad Stamp Designs said:
The Crafty Pad Stamp Designs is proud to sponsor Top Tip Tuesday. I own and run The Crafty Pad Stamp Designs. We offer a variety of both polymer stamps and digi stamps. Weekly challenges are held at The Crafty Pad Blog

My project for this challenge is a shaped card for once;) I did an oval shaped card and I was so lucky to get to use one of  Kristas lovely images for this challenge and it was a joy to colour her up!!

My tips for this challenge!!
Top Tip 1: When you are going to use a sewing machine make sure you try on a piece of cardstock that you can toss afterwards and sew in slow motion.
Top Tip 2: When making a shaped oval card (or another form) make sure you keep just a bit of the die outside the folded paper when cutting in your die cut machine.

My recipe:
blue, green and white (not showing) bazill
DP from Maja design and Magnolia
Stitches by my sewing machine;)
Diecuts: ovals and scalloped ovals

My image is from our sponsor Saturated Canary and is called Dorothy. She is coloured with these promarkers: dusky rose, baby pink, pale pink, blue pearl, cornflower, china blue, black, chestnut, walnut, cocoa, cinnamon, almond, ivory, blush, tan, grey green and cool grey 1.
