Black and white with a splash of colour + continued DT Call at Top Tip Tuesday


It is tuesday again and time for my first post today and another challenge over at Top Tip Tuesday. Thanks to hubby for helping me with the post.

Can't believe how fast two weeks flies when we are having fun!! The challenge this fortnight is all about Black and white with just a little splash of colour. I had loads of fun with this one and hope you'll join in on the fun too. 

My tip this week is that you concentrate the splash of colours to one place to make an eye catching card!!

Say it isn't sew at Top Tip Tuesday

Sorry I am a bit late but at least I am here and it is tuesday still!! At  Top Tip Tuesday this round we have a lovely new challenge for you!! But first of all I want to thank those of you that played along with our "Girls and boys comes out to play" challenge for the past two weeks. I had a blast looking through the entries, it's such a joy seeing such versatility amongst you crafters that join in with us time after time!! Gotta love that.Please check into our challenge blog to see if you are in our winner circle.

For the next two week's our theme will be: Say it isn't sew. That means no machine sewing. Please feel free to do any other sewing than machine sewing, like hand sewing or faux stitching !!

 Oh I have seen what my fabolous teamies have made for this one, you should join in too... go check into our challenge blog and get some fab inspiration!!

My project for this challenge is a little card purse made by cutting and decorating a paper bag. Here's my result:

and my tip is this:
Using my design ruler from Tim Holtz makes hand stitching both neat and straight. Just poke holes in the ruler lines in a straight line and sew afterwards!! Neat huh??




As you might have noticed I have used a Saturated Canary image for this one. Krista has been so kind offering each of the DT a fab image to work with for this challenge!!

Anything Goes Christmas Party @ Top tip tuesday

It is still tuesday and time to show off my slightly delayed christmas project for Top Tip Tuesday. This is my second project today, so if you are looking for Kortgleder click here.  We have a lovely new challenge for you over at Top Tip Tuesday today, but before I tell you about that I want to thank all of you that played along with our christmas challenge for the past two weeks. Kids at Top Tip Tuesday

It is tuesday again and time for another challenge over at Top Tip Tuesday. I can't believe how fast time flies and now it has been two week's since our last challenge!

First of all I want to thank those of you that played along with our "We're all at heart" challenge for the past two week's. There are so much creativity and talent out there, I just can't believe it. 

For the next two week's there is going to be a completely different theme and you are going to love that one too;) We have a kids theme for the next two weeks and it is just your imagination that will decide what the thing you are going to make for us these weeks. So let's get creative!! That is what kids are like too;) We have the lovely Lisa S as the host for this  lovely challenge and o boy does she have an amazing mixed media tutorial to show you.
