It is tuesday again and time for another challenge at Top Tip Tuesday. It is blue teams week, but I have signed up for a tutorial this week, so I am playing along.
PAPER SNOWFLAKES TUTORIAL
Ingredients needed: 5 pieces of doublesided cardstock paper size 7,5 cm x7,5 cm, scissors and strong gluedots. Optional: You can also add 2 circles plus scalloped cirlcles on the front/back for decoration
I chose Maja design Vintage Winter for this one.
Step 1 & 2
Fold the paper diagonally twice and cut the paper while you hold the open flap from you:
You should at least cut 5 times and don't cut all the way to the end. Mine is cut 9 times.
Step 3
It should now look like this when you unfold the paper:
Step 4
Start curling the to ends in the middle towards eachother, like this:
Step 5
Then you turn the paper and do the same at the opposite side and use a strong gluedot to adhere the ends to eachother like this:
Step 6
Turn paper again and repeat. You do this until it is all finished. Then your piece should look something like this:
Step 7
Repeat until all 5 squares are finished
Step 8
Glue them all together
Step 9 (optional)
Use 4 circle diecuts in 2 different sizes and 2 scalloped circles bigger than the biggest circle and attach to the snowflake like this:
Looks easy doesn't it?? I hope you'll give the snowflake tutorial a go. It certainly would look lovely hanging on a christmas tree or in a window;)
