GDT Kort O'Mania: Gavepose

It's time for my second and final contribution as guest designer for the month at Kort O'Mania. It has been utterly exiting to join the girls and I am so greatful for being asked to join in. It is such an honour to design with their talented designteam.

This time the challenge is to make and/or decorate a giftbag and I chose to decorate a giftbag for christmas. This was such a delightful task to work with and such a pleasure to use this opportunity to make something nice for christmas.

Her er min gavepose:
Here's my giftbag

Oppskrift/ My recipe:
Brun papirpose/brown paperbag
Red bazill
Christmas papers from Maja designs last season
snowwriter
Corrugated cardboard covered with studio gesso
Booksheet
Charm from Kutt Ut
Half pearls from Kort & Godt
Cheesecloth
txt from kreativ hobby
Lace from WOC
Snowflake punch from mavy
Diecuts: circle, lacey ovals and scalloped circle
All edges distressed and coloured with pumice stone distress ink

I hope I've inspired you to take a look at the challenge blog and have a peek at all the beautiful creations the designteam have made for this challenge.

Jeg leverer til følgende utfordringer/ I'll deliver for these challenges:

Top Tipper Taggin' Tuesday;)

It is tuesday again and time for another challenge at Top Tip Tuesday. This time both teams get to play and we have a neat and easy one for you this week as well. It is tipper week too, so don't forget to get those great tips from our designteam and you may as well add a tip when you post your project.

Challenge this week is Tag it. Use a tag on your project or make a tag as your project.
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
We have some great sponsors for this week's challenge as well:
Pink Cat Studio are offering one lucky winner 5 digis of their choice.

Pink Cat Studio is all about offering fun and whimsical stamps to inspire your creativity. They have a huge selection of super cute digi and rubber stamps to choose from and they add more each week. Owner and artist Melissa started PCS in 2005 and over the years nothing has excited and inspired her more than to see your creations with her stamps. Melissa’s goal is to continue to delight & surprise you with her designs. Stop by the studio today and get in on the fun!
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Glitterbabe Greetings is offering our Featured Tipper 2 images of their choice from her shop!

Hi. My name is stef h. I am owner of GLITTERBABE’S ART SHOP. I am married to a wonderful man going on 17 years and we live in sandwich, Illinois – a funny little place right after plano and bologny, Illinois! Which gives you…. Plano bologny sandwich! JUST KIDDING – about the bologny part anyway! I really do live in SANDWICH and it really is right after PLANO!

I have been a crafter – mostly cardmaker - going on 10 years and I have been drawing images for less than a year. Actually, it was my hubby who encouraged me. When he heard all the talk about digital stamps he talked about my doodling and suggested I give digi images a try. After many hours of practice I decided to put my “doodles” out there and opened my shop and, as they say, the rest is history! I strive for quality product and work hard to give my very best. I have tons of fun with it and I hope you do too!
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
I told you that you have to tag it, so I did that from scratch and made my own tag.

My tip:
When you make a tag from scratch, make sure that when you cut the top corner, that you use the piece you cut off on the other top side. In that way you'll have even corners.

My recipe:
brown kraft bazill
Red bazill
DP from Maja design's last year christmas collection
doily
Dies: magnolia swirl and Marianne tag
Mavy snowflake punch
Half pearls from Kort & Godt
star dust stickles
snow writer
edges distressed and coloured with pumice stone distress ink
snowflakes
txt from LOTV
Ribbon unknown
crushed velvet lily white flock

The image I have coloured up is a rubber stamp from Whiff of joy called Henry with christmas bauble. He is coloured with these promarkers: chestnut, cocoa, cinnamon, sandstone, marsh green, moss, pear green, crimson, poppy, berry red, ice grey 3 and 1.

Now I hope I've inspired you to take a tour into our challenge blog and have a look at what my talented teammates have made for you!!
